Hi, I’m Dawn, founder of Homestyle Boarding and Pawsitively Famous, where I supply animals for movies, TV, print, and live events. As an animal talent agent, I work remotely from home, which gives me flexibility in my day and allows me to provide personalized care for houseguest dogs.

I’ve been a professional animal trainer for over 30 years, and you may have seen some of my work on shows like Dogs 101 on Animal Planet or Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala. After eight years in Sarasota, I’m excited to bring my services to the Venice community and provide a calm, safe, and loving environment for your dog.

My home is a peaceful retreat where dogs can relax, play, and feel at home — whether it’s a quiet stay for an older dog or letting a tiny Chihuahua snooze safely and comfortably. Each dog is evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure they will thrive in our environment. My two friendly pups love welcoming new friends, and I provide plenty of one-on-one attention, supervision, and love. Older dogs enjoy a calm retreat, while small dogs that feel safer in close contact can even sleep in bed with me.

I focus on well-behaved dogs. While I gladly take puppies, I do not take dogs with severe separation anxiety or other behavioral challenges.
